A little about me...
I'm a keen artist and photographer and passionate about the great Scottish outdoors. The majority of my work focuses on lochs, mountains, wildlife and architecture, captured in Central Scotland and the Highlands.
A freelance writer and editor by profession, I have a Masters degree from Aberdeen University. I've spent time living and working in England, Italy and France, but returned to my childhood home ground of Stirlingshire in 2014 - a great base from which to explore this beautiful country.
When I'm not at the laptop whipping copy into shape, I love nothing more than jumping in the car with my dog and camera and seeing where the day takes us. Sometimes I know exactly what I'm going to photograph; sometimes there's a vague plan and sometimes I just follow the weather or my nose. And I've discovered some of my very favourite spots by doing that last one!
Head over to The Highland Sighthound website and get to know Luca, my fabulous whippety companion, and his much-loved predecessor, Ledi.
From big old landscapes to great wee spots, it's a collection of blogs recounting the best of our travels together through the glorious Highlands.
